The Banking Board hereby authorizes any bank or trust company which sells or assigns mortgages which it owns to the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), or the Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) to invest in and hold the stock of FNMA and GNMA which it acquires in connection with making such sale or assignment effective and to do any and all other acts which under the laws and regulations applicable to such sales may be required to effect such sales.
