Every tank vehicle in addition to regular headlights and tail lights shall be fitted with a warning stop light actuated when the brakes are applied, directional signal lights both front and rear, under driver control to signal turning of the vehicle. Tank vehicles equipped with operating decks or superstructures shall be fitted with clearance lights on each corner of the deck or superstructure, amber in color, to indicate the height, width and length of the vehicle, visible from all directions.
