Except as otherwise provided in section 1240.6 of this Part, the construction of all new commercial buildings; all additions to, alterations of, and/or renovations of existing commercial buildings; and all additions to, alterations of, and/or renovations of building systems in existing commercial buildings shall comply with the requirements of the 2020 ECCCNYS commercial provisions.
