Section 332.8 - Voter who has not yet filed(a) A military voter who has not filed an application, or having filed an application has not received a military ballot, and who is honorably discharged subsequent to October 1, 1976, may have his name entered in the register of voters or on the registration records by personally filing an application with the board of elections of the county of his residence before noon of November 2, 1976.(b) A qualified voter who shall have been inducted into or who shall have enlisted in the armed forces and who shall not have taken his oath of allegiance prior to October 21, 1976, may sign an application as provided in subdivisions 8 and 9 of section 305 and shall file the same with the board of elections of his home county of residence on or before noon of the Monday prior to election day, provided he shall thereafter, on or before election day, become a member of the armed forces.N.Y.
