Section 207.8 - Licensing and training standards for managers of professional boxer and professional mixed martial artists

Prior to the issuance of a manager's license, the Commission may require any applicant todemonstrate, to the satisfaction of the Commission, knowledge of the rules of the Commission and the generally accepted rules of professional boxing or professional mixed martial arts, as well as his or her skills as a manager of boxers or mixed martial artists and knowledge of the background, skills and experience of each boxer or mixed martial artist the manager seeks to place under contract. Managers shall periodically, as required by the Commission, attend seminars relating to rules of the Commission, health and safety of participants, and skills as a manager of boxers and/or mixed martial artists.
