Section 489.1 - Applicability

(a) This Part shall apply to family-type homes for adults as defined herein.

(b) Parts 485 and 486 of this Title shall apply to family-type homes, except as specifically limited.

(c) Any person who operates a family-type home is subject to the jurisdiction of the department and must comply with these regulations or modify or cease operation.
