Section 459.8 - Validation process under group eligibility requirements

(a) Validation period. A validation must be done annually, at such time as determined by the department.

(b) A one-percent sample of the total universe of participants in the statewide program is required.

(c) A random sample of all centers in the State receiving funds for services from the local districts will be selected by the department to be used in the validation process.

(d) The senior citizen centers shall be notified that a validation process will be done during one day of one week to reach the one-percent sample. One hundred percent of the participants in each center selected must be validated on that day.

(e) The specific validation procedures set forth in section 459.9 of this Part will be performed by the local social services district involved, under the supervision and coordination of the department.
