Section 421.26 - Adoptive placements across State and county jurisdictions

An authorized agency may not delay or deny the placement of a child freed for adoption with otherwise suitable approved adoptive parents on the basis that the approved adoptive parents reside in a state or county different from that of the authorized agency with custody and guardianship of the child.
