Guidance:

02A Where the grooved, textured, or brick pavement exists for a distance of 1000 feet or longer, the W8-15 sign should be supplemented with a Distance plaque (see Section 2C.55 ). Where additional signs are placed within 1000 feet of the end of the pavement condition, the Distance plaque should be omitted.
