Section 600.5 - Suspension or termination for abandonment of facilities
(a) No telephone corporation shall suspend or terminate service on the grounds that a subscriber's facilities have been abandoned or are being used by unauthorized persons unless such corporation shall first determine by an on-premises inspection, or such other means as are necessary, that such facilities have in fact been abandoned or are being used by unauthorized persons.
(b) In the event that telephone service is suspended or terminated in accordance with subdivision (a) of this section, and that service is subsequently restored to the same subscriber at the same location:
(1) no charge shall be made for the period during which service had been suspended or terminated; and
(2) no charge shall be made for the restoration of that service if suspension or termination was in error.
