Section 124.6 - Post-hearing procedure
(a) Not guilty finding. If the administrative law judge finds the motorist not guilty, the clerk will enter the finding and the motorist's license will be returned.
(b) Guilty finding. If the administrative law judge finds the motorist guilty, the clerk will enter the finding and the administrative law judge will examine the motorist's driving record as it appears on the official records of the department. The motorist may explain any conviction on such driving record which the administrative law judge is considering or make any relevant statement. The administrative law judge will then announce the penalty, if any, to be imposed.
