Subdivision 36 of section 375 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law adopts the slow-moving vehicle emblem described in American Society of Agricultural Engineers standard S276.2 as the official slow-moving vehicle emblem of New York State. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles is authorized to and shall establish specifications and standards applicable to the size, design and use of said emblem.
