Section 55.3 - Specifications and requirements for padded visors and padded visor holders
(a) Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with two sun visors constructed of or covered with energy-absorbing material.
(b) Each sun visor holder or mounting shall present no rigid material edge radius of less than 0.125 inch that is statically contactable by a spherical 6.5 inch diameter head form.
