Section 44.5 - Auxiliary lights
(a) Lights which are red in color, supplemental to and perform the same functions of required light, such as brake lights, directional signal lights and hazard warning lights, are not prohibited provided:
(1) such lights function in unison with required lights; and
(2) such lights, except on tow trucks and vehicles having doors on the rear, are below any amber hazard or red emergency light affixed to such a vehicle.
(b) Fog lights. The use of amber fog lights shall not be prohibited because of color on any vehicle, provided such lights are affixed below the vehicle's headlamps and are arranged, adjusted or operated to avoid dangerous glare or dazzle.
