Section 20.25 - Title and lien information requests

A request for a lien record or certificate of title information should be submitted to the Title Bureau, Department of Motor Vehicles, South Mall, Albany, NY 12228, using lien record vehicle information request form (Form MV-905) appropriately completed with the appropriate fee. Information on file will be provided on a vehicle title record (Form MV-904).
