Section 37.1 - Patients held pursuant to the family court act

The director of a facility in the department and the director of a facility issued an operating certificate by the department shall, with respect to any patient admitted to such facility pursuant to an order of the Family Court, give immediate written notice to the Family Court when any such patient leaves the facility without the consent of the director or is discharged, placed on leave without consent status or transferred. When a patient admitted pursuant to an order of the Family Court to a facility issued an operating certificate by the department is transferred from such facility and admitted to a facility in the department, or is discharged from such facility to be admitted to a facility in the department, the director of the facility to which said person was originally admitted under court order shall notify the director of the facility to which said patient is transferred of the status of the Family Court proceeding involving said patient, and shall notify the Family Court of the patient's transfer or discharge.
