(b) The records access officers shall be:
(1) the first assistant Attorney General;
(2) the administrative director, New York State Department of Law;
(3) a special assistant Attorney General designated for each special investigation established pursuant to statute; and
(4) an assistant Attorney General for the Statewide Organized Crime Task Force established pursuant to section 70-a of the Executive Law. Requests for records pursuant to this Part received in the New York City and metropolitan area shall be referred to the first assistant Attorney General for disposition. Requests from the upstate area shall be referred to the administrative director of the Department of Law for disposition. Requests for records of Special Investigations, including the Statewide Organized Crime Task Force, established pursuant to statute, shall be referred to the Office of the Investigation, Attention Records Access Officer.
(c) Requests for information will be received and inspections permitted between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., at each location on all days when such location is open for business.
