Within 30 days after service of a copy of the report, findings and recommendation of the county medical society, or of the workers' compensation committee of the county medical society, the accused physician, medical bureau or laboratory may appeal therefrom to the Medical Appeals Unit by serving written notice of appeal, personally or by mail, upon the secretary of the Medical Appeals Unit, 100 Broadway-Menands, Albany, NY 12241, and also upon the county medical society or the workers' compensation committee of the county medical society, whichever made the report, findings and recommendation from which appeal is taken.
