Section 186.1 - Applicability

This Part is applicable to all fire, casualty and marine insurers and other licensees of this department and to all persons, firms and corporations coming within the jurisdiction of this department, in respect to insurance, other than credit life and credit accident and health insurance, on risks located within the State of New York covering:

(a) debtors, and/or creditors; or

(b) personal property purchased on installment or deferred payment plans or their equivalent.
