Section 86-1.41 - Hospital quality contribution(a) For the period July 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012 a quality contribution shall be imposed on the inpatient revenue of each general hospital that is received for the provision of inpatient obstetrical patient care services in an amount equal to 2.4 percent of such revenue, as defined in section 2807-d (3)(a) of the Public Health Law.(b) For the period on and after April 1, 2012, a quality contribution shall be imposed on the inpatient revenue of each general hospital that is received for the provision of inpatient obstetrical patient care services in an amount equal to 1.6 percent of such revenue, as defined in section 2807-d (3)(a) of the Public Health Law.(c) For the purposes of computing revenue subject to this section, inpatient obstetrical patient care services shall also include services related to the care of newborns, but shall exclude neonatal intensive care services.(d) The funds collected pursuant to this section shall be subject to and administered in accordance with the provisions of section 2807-d-1 of the Public Health Law.N.Y.
