Section 8.370.20.66 - FIRST AID REQUIREMENTSAt all times there shall be one staff member on duty who holds current first aid certificate and has completed an approved cardiopulmonary resuscitation course.
A. A first-aid, accessible to all personnel, shall be kept in the facility.B. The first aid kit shall contain as a minimum: band aids, gauze pads, adhesive tape, scissors, soap, and syrup of ipecac.C. In case of accidental poisoning, the facility shall immediately contact the poison control center and their directions shall be followed.D. Syrup of Ipecac must not be given to any participant without first contacting the poison control center.E. All facilities are strongly encouraged to send all of their personnel to an approved cardiopulmonary resuscitation course.F. All facilities shall have a first aid manual available to the staff or caregivers.N.M. Admin. Code § 8.370.20.66
