Section 8.11.3.15 - NOTIFICATION OF AND THE RESULTS OF AN INVESTIGATIONA. The department shall notify the alleged victim and the alleged perpetrator that an investigation has been initiated and that notification shall be documented in the case notes. The department has the option of notifying the reporting person if the case has been accepted or not accepted for investigation.B. Unless otherwise provided for in this section, the department shall notify the alleged victim and perpetrator.C. The department shall notify the perpetrator in writing of the department's substantiation of abuse, neglect or exploitation, the legal and factual basis for the substantiation and the aggrieved person's right to appeal the substantiation in accordance with 8.11.1.17.
