Section 8.10.6.14 - FAMILY CONTACTA. The IHS practitioner schedules the initial face-to-face contact with the family within 72 hours from transfer of the case to IHS.B. The IHS practitioner shall meet with the family at least weekly through the duration of the case.C. When determining the meeting frequency and other types of intervention, safety of the child is always the first consideration.D.
