Section 20.3.3.303 - TYPES OF LICENSESLicenses for radioactive materials are of two types: general and specific.
A. General License. A general license is provided by regulation, grants authority to a person for certain activities involving radioactive material, and is effective without the filing of an application with the department or the issuance of a licensing document to a particular person. However, registration with the department may be required by the particular general license.B. Specific License. A specific license is issued by the department to a named person who has filed an application for the license under the specific licensing provisions of 20.3.3 NMAC, 20.3.5 NMAC, 20.3.7 NMAC, 20.3.12 NMAC, 20.3.13 NMAC, 20.3.14 NMAC and 20.3.15 NMAC.N.M.
