Section 16.25.5.8 - REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSUREA. To obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Mexico, a graduate of a non-AVMA accredited veterinary school must complete certification by the educational commission for foreign veterinary graduates (ECFVG) program administered by the American veterinary medical association prior to examination by the New Mexico board of veterinary medicine.B. A foreign veterinary graduate must meet all other requirements for licensure in New Mexico, as specified in 16.25.2 NMAC.N.M. Admin. Code § 16.25.5.8
