Section 14.7.2.32 - CHAPTER 24 - GLASS AND GLAZING See this chapter of the IBC except as provided below. Section 2403 - General Requirements for Glass. See this section of the IBC except as provided below.
A.Section 2403.1 - Identification. Delete the first paragraph of this section of the IBC and substitute: Each pane shall bear the manufacturer's label designating the type and thickness of the glass or glazing material. The identification shall not be omitted unless approved by the building official. The building official is authorized to require an affidavit from the glazing contractor certifying that each light is glazed in accordance with approved construction documents that comply with the provisions of this chapter. Safety glazing shall be identified in accordance with Section 2406.3.B.Section 2403.2 - Glass supports.
