Section 1.8.4.14 - NEPOTISMA. This agency shall not permit the hiring, promotion, or direct supervision of an employee by an individual who is related by blood, adoption or marriage within the first, second or third degree to the employee.B. For the purposes of Subsection A of this Section:(1) First-degree relatives include an individual's parents, siblings, and children.(2) Second-degree relatives include an individual's grandparents, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and half-siblings.(3) Third-degree relatives include an individual's great-grandparents, great grandchildren, great uncles, great aunts, and first cousins.Adopted by New Mexico Register, Volume XXXI, Issue 24, December 29, 2020, eff. 1/1/2021
