The Higher Education Student Assistance Authority shall notify students of grant eligibility in writing, either electronically or by mail. The amount of the grant is subject to change based on the annual level of appropriations and other resources available to the student (see N.J.A.C. 9A:9-2.9). The institution's written notification to the student regarding State financial assistance shall contain a clause indicating the State is not responsible for funding of the grant in the event of fraudulent, inaccurate, or misleading information.
