Section 8:60-7.1 - Purpose and scope of subchapter

(a) The purpose of this subchapter is to establish the requirements for notifying the Departments of Labor and Workforce Development and Health as to when and where asbestos work will be undertaken.

(b) This subchapter shall be applicable to all employers who are required to possess an asbestos license pursuant to N.J.A.C. 12:120-4 and 8:60-4 and who enter into a contract to perform asbestos work in New Jersey.
