Facilities in which local anesthesia or minor conduction regional blocks only are administered are exempt from complying with the requirements for anesthesia services in this subchapter, except that such facilities shall comply with the following: 8:43A-12.1, 12.4(d), 12.5(f), 12.5(g), 12.6(a)1, 12.6(a)2, 12.6(a)4 and 12.6(a)6. The facility shall also comply with 8:43A-12.11(g), except that the frequency of determining and charting temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure may be determined by the facility and specified in the policies and procedures of the facility.
