Section 8:44-3.10 - Disposable equipment

(a) Syringes, needles, lancets, or other bloodletting devices capable of transmitting infection from one person to another shall not be reused and shall be in conformance with 26:2H-5.1 2 et seq., New Jersey Safety Needle Act, and with the Federal regulations at 29 C.F.R. 1910.1030.

(b) Management and disposal of all regulated medical waste shall be in conformance with the New Jersey Regulated Medical Waste Management Act, 13:1E-48.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 7:26-3, Regulation Medical Waste.
