Section 8:43G-7.9 - Cardiac surgery supplies and equipment

(a) The cardiac surgical intensive care service or recovery room shall have equipment and staff for the following:

1. Hemodynamic and electrocardiogram monitoring;

2. Pacemaker usage;

3. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation;

4. Arrhythmia detection and treatment; and

5. Intra-aortic balloon-assisted circulation.
