Section 7:11-3.8 - Production factor: Spruce Run/Round Valley Reservoir System (Raritan Basin)

(a) The inverse ratio between each daily allocation and its equivalent in sustained supply at the confluence of the Millstone and Raritan Rivers is expressed as the Production Factor for such allocation. The annual Demand Charge for water to be withdrawn at or below the confluence of the Raritan and Millstone Rivers (Basic Confluence Charge), multiplied by the Production Factor for such given allocation, will determine the prevailing charge for such allocation.

(b) Where the water withdrawn within the Raritan Basin System, with the exception of the Delaware and Raritan Canal, is returned by the user to the System substantially undiminished in quantity and quality at a point considered to be in the near vicinity of the point of withdrawal, all as determined by the New Jersey Water Supply Authority, the Production Factor shall be considered to be unity (1.0).
