Section 6A:9C-1.2 - Purpose(a) The purpose of this chapter is to set forth the requirements for a system of high-quality professional development that continuously serves educators' professional learning and practice in support of positive learning outcomes for all New Jersey students and to support improved student achievement of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).(b) Educator development occurs along a continuum of rigorous pre-professional preparation, certification, and professional development to prepare educators.N.J.
