Section 6A:26-10.9 - Approval of lease agreements for facilities to be used for school purposes

Without authority first obtained from voters, the board of school estimate or the capital project review board, as appropriate, a school district may rent facilities to use for school purposes on a year-to-year basis or for up to five years in case of emergency. "Emergency" for the purposes of this section shall include an emergent condition or the circumstances that warrant emergency stabilization as defined in 6A:26-1.2.
