Section 5A:6-3.3 - Residency(a) The veteran will be considered a resident of the State if he or she: 1. Was domiciled in New Jersey at the time of induction into the Armed Forces of the United States;2. Was domiciled in New Jersey at the time of separation from active duty; or3. Was domiciled in New Jersey for a period of not less than 24 consecutive months prior to the date of application, exclusive of any time spent on active duty.(b) Domicile is defined as the place where a person has a true, fixed, permanent home and principal establishment to which, when absent, there is the intention of returning.N.J.
