The rules in this chapter are promulgated by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to implement sections 106 and 107 of the New Jersey Economic Recovery Act of 2020, P.L. 2020, c. 156, establishing the PPE Manufacturing Tax Credit Program. The Act authorizes the Authority to administer the program to encourage economic development, job creation, and the production of PPE within the State. The Board may approve the award of tax credits to a taxpayer upon application of the taxpayer and following the execution of an approval letter and the payment of fees, subject to the limitations set forth in this subchapter.
