Section 19:25-6.1 - Receipt and deposit of funds

(a) Funds received by a candidate committee, joint candidates committee, political committee, continuing political committee, political party committee or legislative leadership committee shall be delivered to the campaign or organizational treasurer and deposited by that treasurer in the campaign or organizational depository within 10 days of receipt by the committee, unless transferred prior to deposit pursuant to 19:25-6.2.

(b) The date of receipt by a committee of any funds is the date on which a campaign or organizational treasurer, or any other person so authorized, receives funds on behalf of the candidate committee, joint candidates committee, political committee, continuing political committee, political party committee, or legislative leadership committee.
