Section 19:25-24.3 - Request for repayment of a contribution

(a) If a business entity makes a contribution during the term of a contract that would constitute a violation of N.J.A.C. 19:25-24.2, the entity may request, in writing, that the recipient candidate committee of any candidate or holder of the public office of Governor repay the contribution in full and, if such repayment is received within 30 days after the date on which the contribution was made, the business entity would no longer be in violation of N.J.A.C. 19:25-24.2.

(b) It shall be presumed that a contribution or contributions made within 60 days of a gubernatorial primary or general election were not made inadvertently.
