Section 18:18-13.2 - Suit by Director; jurisdiction; process

(a) The Director shall initiate legal proceedings in order to collect any penalty or fine imposed due to the violation of any provision of these rules as noted in N.J.A.C. 18:18-13.1.

(b) The Superior Court and any municipal court, if the violation occurs within the territorial jurisdiction of such court will have jurisdiction over proceedings to enforce and collect the penalty or fine.

(c) The proceedings will be summary and in accordance with the Penalty Enforcement Law (N.J.S.A. 2A:58-1 et seq.) and process shall be either in the nature of a summons or a warrant.
