Section 17:1-7.6 - Medical examinations; out-of-State(a) The retirement system may arrange medical examinations, for members who live out-of-State, with physicians located in the vicinity of the member's place of residence.(b) The independent medical examiner's report and all related data will be reviewed by the Board or Commission to determine whether the member's application for disability benefits will be approved.N.J.
