Section 16:53E-9.1 - Safety and security review

(a) At least every three years, the Department shall conduct a comprehensive on-site safety review and security review at each transit agency.

(b) The three-year safety review shall assess the efficacy of the transit agency's SSPP and its SSP in their entirety.

(c) The Department shall issue its findings from the on-site safety and security review in a written report, which shall include a determination of whether the transit agency shall be required to update or correct its SSPP and SSP.
