Section 16:53E-8.1 - Annual internal audit reports

Every transit agency shall annually submit to the Department for its review, a copy of the transit agency's annual safety audit report and its annual security audit report prepared by the transit agency as a result of the internal safety and security audit processes. The deadline for submission shall be February 28. The internal audit process and internal audit reports conducted for each system shall meet the specifications described in the "New Jersey Department of Transportation Safety and Security Oversight Program Standard and Procedures."
