Section 16:53-8.6 - Fire extinguisher

(a) Each sedan-type autobus shall be equipped with at least one fire extinguisher having an Underwriters' Laboratories rating of 5BC or more, as provided in 49 CFR § 393.95, incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented. The use of a vaporizing liquid-type fire extinguisher is prohibited.

(b) Fire extinguishers shall be located in the passenger compartment.
