Section 16:53-8.4 - Seating

(a) A transverse seat space of not less than 15 inches shall be provided for each passenger.

(b) Portable seats shall not be permitted.

(c) The front seat shall not be occupied by more than one passenger, excluding the driver.

(d) The total number of passengers being transported shall not exceed the seating capacity of the sedan-type autobus.
