Section 16:53-6.34 - Window openings

(a) Each window opening, other than the driver's window, shall be restricted to a maximum of six inches.

(b) On small autobuses that are used to transport children to or from school or school-connected activities, each full side window shall provide an unobstructed emergency opening at least nine inches high and 22 inches wide, obtained by lowering the window.
