Section 16:53-6.18 - Steps

(a) The first step at the entrance area shall not exceed 16 inches from the ground when the small autobus is unloaded.

(b) The surface of all steps shall be of a nonskid material.

(c) Steps shall not extend beyond the body limits to a degree that could result in bodily injury or property damage.
