Section 16:53-3.29 - Glazing and window construction

(a) Glazing shall conform to 49 CFR § 393.60, incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 205 and 217 ( 49 CFR § 571.205 and § 571.217 ), incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented.

(b) Interior glazing including, but not limited to, mirrors, partitions, cabinets, and lighting fixtures shall be constructed of laminated safety glass or other material approved by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
