This chapter implements P.L. 1975, c. 251, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Act, N.J.S.A. 4:24-39et seq., to establish soil erosion and sediment control standards for Department of Transportation (Department) certification of its projects to the Soil Conservation Districts. The standards in this chapter were promulgated by the Department in consultation with the State Soil Conservation Committee and the Department of Environmental Protection.
