This chapter governs disbursements from the Departments Municipal Local Aid Program to municipalities for the purpose of assisting municipalities in the implementation of public transportation projects and other transportation projects, as defined in N.J.S.A. 27:1B-1 et seq., including, but not limited to, improvement of any public road or bridge under the jurisdiction of a municipality.
